Class Training/Coaching Day:  11 March

Save the date for 11 March to brush off the cobwebs and warm up those winter- frozen racing muscles. The coaching will take place in the Central Solent. The Warsash Srring Series starts the following day.

We're hoping to gather as many UK J/109s as possible to a day of coaching and learning on the water with One Sails' crack team. Assuming the weather gods grant us the right conditions.

Special Trophy for Round the Island Race

The Island Sailing Club has decided to nominate the J/109 class for the Jack Knights Trophy in next year's Round the Island Race.

The trophy is one which rotates annually and historically has been for one of the separate one design classes in the race.  Due to declining numbers of entries in these classes it was decided to award it in 2022 to the Contessa 32 Class which races with extracted class results in the ISCRS Class.  This was successful and next year will be awarded to the winning J/109 under extracted results from the IRC Class.
