Annual Dinner: 26 Feb, Royal Thames Yacht Club

On the 26th February 2022 we will be returning to the Royal Thames Yacht Club for more Dinner, Dancing and Prizes.

We would like to welcome all members of the J/109 community, owners, crews, shore based supporters, inshore racers, hardy offshore types and even cruisers.

Dartmouth Week: In J/109 Points Championships.

Dartmouth Week has held a seperate J/109 class start since 2018, and to recognise this, teh UK class association is now including the results within its seasons Championship: The championship recognises the top round - the - cans J/109s in the UK. It is hoped that inclusion in the championships will attract even more J/109s to Dartmouth for the Royal regatta.

Just So has won the J109 class in the last 3 editions: Time to challenge their dominance!

2022 Racing calendar

The 2022 calendar for the class has been issued. It includes round- the cans and one-design racing making up the Seasons Championship; Offshore racing with RORC and JOG; The combined inshore/offshore Solent Series; And Cork Week for those who want to venture further afield!

Cowes Week Charter Offer

From Ross Walker, who races as "Brown Teal" and won Cowes Week last year.

For the past 14 years we have chartered a J 109 for Cowes Week. We would like to charter one for 2022 but our traditional sources have dried up. Would a J/109 owner be prepared to rent his yacht? We have our own sails and would pay a fee plus insurance costs and costs such as slip and scrub.
