Update on Cowes Week, and the Taittinger regatta; Preview of Dartmouth Week; Suit of J109 sails for sale

July - August Review

Joule  (Arjen Van Leeuwen and Silvy Leijh)  won  Cowes Week with five first places out of seven.  Jukebox (John Smart) were second and Brown Teal ( Clementi, Sheldon & Walker) third.

The Taittinger regatta was won by Jumping Jellyfish (David Richards), winning all  three races. Jedi (Anthony Tahourdin)  and Jenie (Charles and Rosie Berry) were third.

JAGO (Mike Yates and Will Holland) came third in IRC 3 in the RORC Channel Race

Dartmouth Week

The one- design competition moves to the West Country on the 25th - 28th August, with 8 J/109s entered.  Taittinger regatta winners Jumping Jellyfish will look to repeat their success, but they will be challenged by top JOG boat Just So and Spring series winners JAGO among others.

Sails for sale

Ross Walker, who campaigns Cowes week as Brown Teal has posted the following:

I have some North 3Di sails for sale.
These have only been used in previous Cowes Weeks.
Main bought 2019 used 2019 2021 and 2022
M/H jib bought 2020 used 2021 and 2022
A2 bought 2022 and used 2022
plus a couple of other A2's
Sails have been valeted by North each year and are currently at North.
